Rosti potato

 

Ingredients
Grated potato 100g
Grated (Gouda) Cheese 50g
Batter flour or mix 75g
Parsley 20g
Water 50ml
 
Preparation Method

  • Cut the potatoes in small strips en put in mixing bowl
  • Chop parsley finely, add to bowl and mix with all ingredients apart from cheese 
  • Put oil in frying pan and put on low heat – wait till oil is hot before adding mixture 
  • Use a standard dining spoon as a measure, add a spoonful of mixture and create a rounded shape, 3 to 4 can be fried at the same time
  • Fry in 5 minutes on a low heat – turning sides frequently
  • Decorate the rosti potato with grated cheese and a pinch of sea salt
  • The addition of the batter flour or batter mix makes the dish extra crispy!
