Mushrooms in Beer Batter with aioli

 

Ingredients

Mushrooms -  medium size 8
Mixed herbs  + pinch of garlic powder 50 grams
Smedes batter flour / Batter mix 50 grams
Beer 60 ml

Preparation Method

  • Pick 8 similar sized mushrooms and rinse with water an dry carefully
  • Prepare your beer batter with the herbs
  • Dip the mushrooms in the batter - tip: use a wooden skewer to make it easier to dip it into the batter!)
  • Fry the mushroom golden brown in oil of 180-185 degrees in 4 minutes
  • Serve with aioli

Professional batter
  • Weight the batter mix and measure the water, ratio 500gr : 600ml
  • Use a whisk and mix gently
  • The batter should glide from the whisk, not drip
