Fish chunks - Fish Goujons

 

Ingredients
Various mixed white fish
 
Preparation Method

  • Select a firm type of white fish and cut it in bite-sized pieces
  • Dip the fish chunks in the batter and put it gently in the oil of 180 degrees
  • Fry till golden yellow. Drain the fish well and serve hot
  • Optional: season with a fish spice mixture or add it to your batter
  • Enjoy!

Professional batter

Smedes Batter Mix
Add 1200ml of cold water to a mixing bowl.
Add 1000g of Smedes Batter Mix. 
Use a whisk and mix gently.
The batter should glide from the whisk, not drip.

1000g batter is suitable for 5 to 6kg fried product.
